Moin,
so langsam verzweifle ich. Ich möchte nur das aktuelle MD image auf die Box flashen und bekomme es einfach nicht hin.
Weder per Cossoverkabel über mein Laptop unter WinXP noch über meinen Hauptrechner unter WINXP wobei über normales Netzwerkkabel und router.
Serielleskabel ist auch angeschlossen.
Liegt es nur an XP?? Bisher hatte ich unter Win98 geflasht aber ich habe keinen rechner mehr der 98 drauf hat.

ja es ist ein nullmodemkabel.
Den Mediasensing patch habe ich schon ausgeführt.
Ich werde es nachher noch mal mit dem Lapi probieren ( crossover und nullmodem) und dem Hallenberger assi.

ich habe es jeztzt erst noch mal ohne den flashassi mit dem Laptop versucht aber auch das hat nicht geholfen. Hier mal der Log davon.
Da bekomme ich immer den fehler hier:

wenn du ftp verbindung hast,
schiebe doch das image in den tmp ordner
und installiere von der box aus
Firwal ist auf dem Lapi ausgeschaltet.
Eigentlich bin ich mir sicher das ich ein Nullmodemkabel habe, aber ich wedejetzt mal ebend kurz zu meinem Hadware Dealer fahren das der das mal duchprüft.

so langsam weiß ichnicht mehr weiter.
Mit dem Hallenberger Assi funzt das gar nicht da findet er irgendwie kein Netzwerk und bricht nach 10 versuchen ab.
Man kann da ja auch gar nichts richtig einstellen.

Beim Hallenberger habe die Option mit deminstalierten Linux gewählt.
Also IP eingegeben und Image gewählt und dan Start gedrükt.
Erst war alles OK doch beim Löschen des Flas ist es plötzlich passiert.
Die Box ist einfach aus gegangen und nun ist schluß mit lustich.
Die Box bootet nicht mehr sonder bleibt hängen.
Es steht nur noch im LCD:

Hast du evtl. ne quelle wo ich noch das 3,1 image bekomme???
Im MD.Image center ist nur das neu 4.9 zu download.

Hi danke für den Link.
Ich habe eine Nokia sat 2xI Box.
Über FTP habe ich es nicht probiert.
Mit dem Bootmanager habe ich jetzt auch keine chance mehr sowie mit FTP habe ich keinen zugriff mehr.
Angeschlossen habe ich die BOX direkt an meinem Lapi über Crossover und Nullmodem kabel.
Auch mit dem flashassi komme ich nicht mehr drauf, werde mit dem ormalen noch mit dem unter Linux ( der mir ja das Image zerschossen hat).
Keine Ahnung was ich jetzt machen kann.
Wie sagt man immer so schön "never touch a running system" .
