-du mußt erst alle 4 Speicherbereiche von der Box löschen
-erst dann kann das "Notfallpaket" eingespielt werden
-danach bist du wieder auf der Originalversion FW 1.03

Ist wirklich nicht schwierig, mußt dich nur damit etwas befassen.

Das weiss ich,aber kann leider nicht machen.
Ich habe gestern abend nich geschlaffen.

kann ich mir gut vorstellen das es eine schlaflose Nacht war !
du hast doch Zugriff mit dem Hyperterminal, dann kannst du auch die Speicherbereiche löschen.
Du mußt direkt nach dem Starten der Box durch Eingabe der "Enter-Taste" das Bootlog unterbrechen so das du dann im Prombt (Schreibzeile) stehst.
Dann diese Befehle für die 4 Speicherbereiche eingeben.

Steht alles im Link den ich oben gepostet habe (ziemlich am Schluß)

3.) connect the receiver through serial and network port and start the terminalapplication on the serial port
4.) power on the receiver and press immediately <enter> on the terminal, you should see the uboot prompt (STB7100-Ref>)
5.) on uboot prompt set the box ip with "set ipaddr 192.168.x.x" (you have to adapt x.x to your settings, both have to be in the same subnet)
6.) on uboot prompt set the tftp-server ip with "set serverip 192.168.x.x" (you have to adapt x.x to your settings, both have to be in the same subnet)
7.) on uboot prompt copy the kernel with "tftp a4000000 emergency.ub" into memory
8.) plugin the prepared usb-stick (you can get a full update of all partitions here --> http://www.megaupload.com/de/?d=63MJTFN9)
9.) on uboot prompt start the kernel from memory with "bootm a4000000"

now the emergency-system should boot and starting to update...

Ich kann dazu schreiben, dass ich vor etwa 2 Wochen mir einen 910er bestellt habe und dieser sollte innerhalb von 1 Woche kommen, aber er ist bis jetzt noch nicht da. Daraufhin habe ich mal angerufen und die Dame aus dem Support hat von Lieferschwierigkeiten gesprochen. Daraufhin habe ich mal geschaut, ob ich irgendwo anderst die Box her bekomme und habe viel telefoniert und gemailt. Keiner davon konnte sofort liefern, ausser über Amazon habe ich einen Händler gefunde, der angeblich innerhalb von 4 tagen liefern kann. Also auch dort bestellt und mal sehen was kommt!!!
Bei manchen Händlern (auch Sathändler) wurde mir gesagt, dass Kathrein im MOment die Auslieferung "stoppt", um die nächste Generation der Boxen mit einer neuen/anderen Software auszuliefern.
Sind die dann eventuelle nicht mehr patchbar oder wird es vielleicht so sein wie damals mit dem 5400er Humax und seinem "Nachfolger", dem "Z"???

ich habe den einen bestellt über Amazon (Händlerplattform) bei einem Händler names Hifinesse für 331 inkl. Porto und den anderen bei redcoon für 291 Euro (wird etwas später geliefert).
Das größte Problem war einen in Silber zu bekommen, in schwarz bekommt man sie fast überall.....:huepfende0039:

ich nehme mal an das du flashen möchtest!. oder?. wenn ja, dann stecke deinen fertigen usb- stick in den front-usb deiner box, drücke die menü- taste an der box und schalte diese per netzschalter ( hinten ) ein. es erscheint emergency boot und dann update, jetzt kannste die menü- taste wieder loslassen. ab jetzt geht alles von selbst. weitere schritte sind hier im board nachzulesen.
ich hoffe, ich konnte dir helfen.

1.Box ist mit seriellem Kabel verbunden
2. Hyper terminal (XP) ist gestartet- Einstellung 115200 und Hardwarefluss auf kein.
3. verbinden-box einschalten-Taste drücken..
4. wenn alles geklappt hat seid ihr im "u-boot"

Frage: woran erkenne ich dass ich dort bin?????

mein HT zeigt an verbunden
auf Tastendruck tut sich gar nichts

auch kann ich im HP-Fenster nichts eingeben-Tastatur reagiert nicht.

Weiß hier jemand weiter?

Du mußt sofort nach dem Einschalten der Box z.b. die ENTER-Taste drücken damit der Log unterbrochen wird.

hey,

vielleicht kann mir einer von Euch auf die Sprünge helfen. Mein 910er
hat das SF-Image vom 10.07. Im Infotext steht, dass beim
Emergency-Boot jetzt auch die Updatefunktion vorhanden ist. Ich kann aber im Emergency-Menue nur eine feste IP oder DHCP durch drehen einstellen.Die
PowerFunktion (Knopf drücken) hat keine Funktion. USB-Stick ist gesteckt, Ordner sind vorhanden, Software ist drauf! Sollte doch so funktionieren,
bei mir nicht1

kann man auch ohne sereilles kabel die box zurück setzen bzw. neues image ausspielen bei mir kommt nur emergency boot wo ich am drehrad auf dhcp gehen kann aber nix passiert weiter

Hallo

Ich wollte meine box von SF image auf original 1.03 zurück flashen, mit den sechs dateien für den USB stick, das hat schonmal gut funktioniert. Aber jett blieb er beim Nr. 5 hängen erst nach einigen minuten gings weiter aber jetzt bootet er nicht und ich kann auch nicht mehr von USB flashen.

Wenn ich einschalte bleibt er bei „Kathrein UFS910“ hängen
und wenn ich von USB flashen will dann hängt er bei „EmergencyBoot“

Was kann man da machen?

Mein Rechner hat auch keine RS232 Schnittstelle, das gibt’s bei den neuen Intel Boards nicht mehr!

also würde es mit einen USB adapter auch gehn?

Und die richtige anleitung ist diese:

1.) tftp-server installieren (windows z.b. http://perso.orange.fr/philippe.jounin/tftpd32.html)
2.) "notfall-kernel" downloaden und "emergency.ub" ins tftp-freigabe-verzeichnis kopieren --> http://www.megaupload.com/de/?d=66RV985P
3.) receiver mit serieller schnittstelle und netzwerk verbinden, terminalprogramm auf serieller schnittstelle starten
4.) receiver einschalten und im terminal sofort <enter> drücken, der uboot-prompt sollte nun erscheinen (STB7100-Ref>)
5.) am uboot prompt ip der box mit "set ipaddr 192.168.x.x" setzen (x.x natürlich anpassen, beide geräte müssen im selben subnet sein)
6.) am uboot prompt ip des tftp-servers mit "set serverip 192.168.x.x" setzen (x.x natürlich anpassen, beide geräte müssen im selben subnet sein)
7.) am uboot prompt kernel mittels "tftp a4000000 emergency.ub" in den speicher kopieren
8.) usb-stick mit vorbereiteten updates einstecken (ein komplettes update aller partitionen findet sich hier --> http://www.megaupload.com/de/?d=63MJTFN9)
9.) am uboot prompt mit "bootm a4000000" den kernel im speicher starten
nun sollte das emergency system starten und das update per usb loslegen..

Ich werd bei einen freund vorbeischaun der hat noch einen mit RS232.
Dann kann ich mir auch den adapter sparen.

Aber muss man nicht noch beim Hyperterminal irgendwas auf 115200 und keine flusssteuerung einstellen.

Ist diese eingabe auch noch nötig:

1. Box (ausgeschaltet) mit seriellen und Netzwerkkabel verbinden
2. Hyperterminal starten
3. Box verbinden, dabei Enter gedrückt halten
4. Am prompt folgendes eintippen:

erase A0200000 A029ffff [Enter]
erase A02A0000 A04Dffff [Enter]
erase A04E0000 A0Adffff [Enter]
erase A0C00000 A0ffffff [Enter]


6. Wenn alle eingaben mit „done“ bestätigt wurden, Box am Netzschalter ausschalten
